The University of Central Oklahoma College of Business recently named Hannah Mette the Fall 2018 Class Marshal.
Mette, a human resource major from Spring Creek, Nevada, earned the title of Class Marshal for achieving the highest academic record throughout her time in the College of Business at UCO.
“There are periods in your life that you reflect on as truly transformational. I know that, for the rest of my life, I will view my time at UCO as one of these periods,” Mette said.
Mette is a member of Alpha Xi Delta, Leaders of Tomorrow, 2BeLeader, the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is a resident assistant in university housing. She received the Leaders of Tomorrow, Management Student, and Textbook Leadership scholarships and was named Outstanding Senior in Leadership, Panhellenic Chapter Officer of the Year, SHRM Regional Champion and the 2018 UCO Homecoming Queen. Following graduation, Mette plans on continuing her professional career in training and development in the Oklahoma City metro.
Class Marshal has been a proud Central tradition since 1994. Honorees will wear a bronze graduation gown and a special stole during the fall commencement ceremonies, representing the highest degree of academic achievement.
