Dr. Hepner worked as a software developer, consultant and PMP certified project manager for 10 years in industry before becoming a professor at UCO. Dr. Hepner has taught management information systems, information systems management (the senior capstone course), IT security and risk management, managing and troubleshooting networks, and software development in visual basic and C#. Her research interests include risk analysis and security of information systems; data warehousing, mining, and analysis; and the promotion of undergraduate research. She is on the advisory board of the Oklahoma Journal of Undergraduate Research.
