Biographical Info

Dr. Cheng has worked in the information technology industry for 20 years as a project manager, in which she designed, developed and implemented software for Fortune 500 companies. Dr. Cheng’s vision is to bring UCO students a transformative learning experience through innovative technology. Dr. Cheng is also a two-time Barnabas Fellow, a distinguished researcher for the ISOM department, an awardee of 20 fully funded internal and external grants, and a reviewer for both the National Science Foundation and a number of journals.  She has been recognized for her achievements at UCO, receiving the Vandford Initiative Award and the Faculty Merit-Credit Award. Additional scholarly achievements include 12 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Cheng is also the designer of Virtual Tutor Learning Systems, published by McGraw-Hill and Prentice Hall. She has presented over 60 topics at regional, national and international conferences.
