Biographical Info

Dr. Alexander worked as a programmer/analyst for over 12 years before entering academia. She has also done consulting work for small businesses in the travel and hospitality industries. She is co-sponsor of UCO’s student chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals. Her research interests include technology adoption in small and entrepreneurial businesses, IS strategy, organizational impact of IS/IT, and technology integration into the business curriculum. Her teaching interests include organizational impacts of IS/IT; project management; database management; microcomputer applications; systems analysis and design; IS strategy; and programming languages.
