The mission of the Marketing Department at the University of Central Oklahoma is to provide a dynamic learning environment where students develop a personal lifelong learning strategy.
Students will be exposed to both academic and practical experiences in marketing to equip them with the intellectual and professional knowledge, and skills necessary for entry level and advanced marketing, and business positions in the regional, national and global marketplace.
Marketing is people oriented; marketers perform various activities in an organization that link the organization to the marketplace outside.
The Marketing Department offers two degree programs leading the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree.
The marketing program exposes students to both academic and practical experiences in marketing to equip them with the intellectual and professional knowledge and skills necessary for marketing and business positions in the regional, national, and global marketplace.
The professional sales program prepares the student to enter the workforce with established sales skills and an understanding of the selling process. Courses provide students with the necessary interpersonal communication, professional selling, sales management and leadership skills to be successful in a sales career.
